Tough Love

Don't you appreciate it when someone respects you enough to shoot straight with you? When you're about to go through something hard, it can be refreshing to have someone who has firsthand experience with your challenge and will tell you the honest reality of what you're going to face - without sugar coating or hedging. Oddly, this can be a strong form of encouragement! In our passage for today, we'll hear the tough love of a pastor to his people about what it will take to run their race with endurance.
