Most of the time, when you see a long list of heroes, the people that are included are there because they accomplished something great - broke through a glass ceiling, changed a paradigm, or broke a record. But in Hebrews 11, what we get is something different: it's a list of heroes, who in large part don't seem to "win" at life. What's with that?
