CHRIS & KIM TODD

TYRE, LEBANON

Chris and Kim Todd are natives of Alabama. They raised their four children in Tyre while developing a thriving ministry which serves refugees who fled war-torn Syria.

MISSION:

Chris and Kim lead the Words of Isa ministry and work alongside other missionaries as well as Muslim-background believers to provide education for children and women, pre- and post-natal care, Arabic literacy, Bible stories, discipleship, trauma counseling, and above all, the good news about Jesus. Additionally, they are raising up leaders who are planting house churches among Muslim background believers. Chris recently completed his master’s degree in trauma therapy. He is implementing EMDR, which is a trauma recovery therapy used by the Veterans Administration to help Syrian refugees process war trauma.

HOW CAN I PRAY FOR THEM?

  • Pray for the extreme economic, power grid and food crises being endured currently by those living in Lebanon, and that food, water and gasoline would be available.
  • Pray for the Syrian families living in the refugee camps that they will come to know Christ as a result of their forced migration.
  • Pray that God would be glorified in the new Christ-centered war trauma therapy ministry in the refugee camps.
  • Pray for the young girls in the camps who are responsible for many small children while their mothers go to work daily in the field.
  • Pray for the numerous small group discovery bible studies they host weekly for Muslim background believers.
  • Pray that the leaders will lead well and every member grows in their relationship with God.
