Join us for Bible Study

Through Bible study, we hope to provide a place of faith engagement where women grow in knowledge and love for the Lord, in love for one another and the church, and are equipped to teach and encourage other women with Biblical truth.

Acts Precept Study

September 23 - November 18
Mondays, 6:30-8:30 p.m.

Join us as we do a deep dive into a Precept Ministry Study on the book of Acts. Precept is a guided study that allows one to learn while being led by the Holy Spirit.
Luke’s first account was his Gospel in which he recorded all that Jesus began to do and teach. His second account we call Acts, or the Acts of the Apostles, in which Luke recorded what happened after Jesus’ ascension to the Father. Jesus sent the Holy Spirit, empowering the apostles to testify to the power of God in salvation and in living every day for the gospel. Learn how God spread the gospel through witnesses of Jesus’ death and resurrection, and from their examples, how you too can witness to others. Stand in awe of the power of God in believers to endure persecution and suffering for the cause of Christ and embrace His power in your life. Be encouraged by the results of faithful servants holding forth truth in a dark world; watch as the church grows numerically, geographically, and culturally.
This is a men’s and women’s parallel study. This means that this study takes place for men and women at the same time and place, but in different rooms. To sign up for the women's study you can navigate to the links below, and to register for the men's study you click here.
What to expect:
  • This Fall, Acts Part 1 will cover chapters 1-12.
  • There will be homework that will take 1-2 hours per week.
  • Men and women will meet in separate classrooms for the discussion time.

Please purchase your own copy of the study book. You have the option to purchase the the “In & Out Study” (1-2 hours of homework/week) or the “Precept upon Precept” (4-5 hours of homework/week) depending how your level of engagement with this study.

Everyday Theology by Mary Wiley

September 11 - November 13
Wednesdays, 10 a.m. - 12 p.m.

September 10 - November 19
Tuesdays, 6:30-8:30 p.m.

Theology is the study of God, what he has done, is doing and will do in the world. And it’s not just for those with formal education or those who work at your church. It’s for you in your everyday moments, questions, and decisions. It’s for the big and little, the exciting and mundane. Our theology is the basis of our faith and touches every part of our existence.

Through this study you will explore the essential doctrines of Scripture, God, Jesus, the Holy Spirit, humanity, salvation, the church, and the end times to know God more deeply through these foundational truths. There will be daily foundational Bible verses for memorization and additional resources to support and reinforce weekly study. As a result of this study you will worship with a greater understanding of who God is and His work in the world, increase your ability to discern between truth and false teaching and examine foundational truths to better understand what you believe and deepen your relationship with God.

Childcare will be offered during the Wednesday morning study until available spaces are filled. Please indicate need when registering for Bible study so we can send you a childcare registration form to complete according to availability.
