WOMEN'S BIBLE STUDIES

Join us for Bible Study

Through Bible study, we hope to provide a place of faith engagement where women grow in knowledge and love for the Lord, in love for one another and the church, and are equipped to teach and encourage other women with Biblical truth. Women's Bible study groups meet weekly on Monday evening, Tuesday evening and Wednesday morning.

Colossians and Philemon

This addition to Meet Me in the Bible series presents a practical five-step framework for examining the epistles of Colossians and Philemon. In these letters, Paul brought clarity to confusion and hope where there was fear, and called for unity amid this especially diverse congregation. Colossians and Philemon remind readers today of the eternal impact of Jesus' life, death and resurrection. This inductive study will help you observe and interpret Colossians and Philemon and apply them to everyday life.

TUESDAY EVENING STUDY

Tuesdays, 6:30 - 8:30 p.m.
September 15 - November 10

WEDNESDAY MORNING STUDY

Wednesdays, 10 a.m. - 12 p.m.
September 16 - November 11

Precept Bible Study: Ephesians

Join us as we do a deep dive into a Precept Study of Ephesians. Before Paul even hints at how believers should live, he lays a rock-solid foundation: who we are in Christ! If you think you’re just a cog in a machine, if you don’t know your true identity, then this study is for you. Praise God for what He planned in eternity past and is waiting to reveal to you now . . . through the study of His Word. Learn who and what you are in Christ and you’ll want to walk God’s ways the rest of your life!

The Precept Method uses tools like observing text, asking questions, and considering application just like the Inductive Method, but the Precept Method also goes a level deeper to bring in tools like prayer, specific ways to look for themes, ways to make lists to understand common central ideas or patterns, and we also use the context of Scripture to help you interpret Scripture.

What to expect:
  • 10-week study starting this Fall
  • Homework will take 1-2 hours per week.
  • This is a Men’s and Women’s Parallel study.  Men and women will meet in separate classrooms for the discussion time.

MONDAY EVENING STUDY

Mondays, 6:30 - 8:30 p.m.
September 14 - November 16

Seamless

Whether you've grown up hearing Bible stories or you're exploring Scripture for the first time, the full story of the Bible can be overwhelming. The 66 books may seem disconnected at first glance. In this study, Angie Smith shows you how the whole Bible - from Genesis through Revelation - connects as one beautiful, seamless thread.

A registration fee of $20 covers the cost of the book. Books are provided on the first evening of study.

TUESDAY EVENING STUDY

Tuesdays, 6:30 - 8:30 p.m.
September 15 - December 8

If one of the above studies aren't a good fit for your schedule, head to Annapolis Events for more info about Word & Prayer, a new opportunity to gather with other women and go deeper into God's Word together.
