WOMEN'S BIBLE STUDIES

Join us for Bible Study

Through Bible study, we hope to provide a place of faith engagement where women grow in knowledge and love for the Lord, in love for one another and the church, and are equipped to teach and encourage other women with Biblical truth. Women's Bible study groups meet weekly on Monday evening, Tuesday evening and Wednesday morning.

Seamless

Tuesdays, 6:30 - 8:30 p.m.
September 2 - November 18

Are you new to Bible study or perhaps even a new believer? Do you desire to have more confidence in your understanding of Scripture? If so, you're invited to join us starting in January for Seamless, a Bible study written by Angie Smith. There's a seamless thread woven through every story in the Bible—a thread that connects its people, places, and promises in a whole new way. Each week of the study features key information that ties all of Scripture together into the seamless truth of the gospel message and is accompanied by maps, general Bible facts, and word studies. Please register below to let us know you’ll be joining us!

Wednesdays, 10 a.m. - 12 p.m.

Join us for a study of the book of Acts. We will look at the early church and God's plan of salvation worked out in and through his people in the Old Testament, New Testament and in our world today. At the end of this study you will have a better understanding of God's plan of salvation and how the events of this book apply to your own life. This study is a continuation from last semester. Lessons 8-17 will be covered this semester. This study will be a combination of small group discussion and video teaching.

Registration deadline for this study is December 15 or sooner if all available spaces are filled so be sure to register early! Childcare is not available during this study.

1 Timothy Precept Bible Study

Mondays, 6:30-8:30 p.m.
January 5 – March 2

Join us as we do a deep dive into a Precept Ministry Study 1 Timothy. How are the people in the church to behave? What happens when we hear teaching that is not the truth? Timothy, a young pastor, was told the answers to these questions in this letter written to him. It contains some doctrine, but also very practical instructions for how people in the church are to live.

The Precept Method is based on the Inductive Method. If you’ve researched the “best ways to study” the Bible, you’ve likely heard that the inductive method is considered the best and most thorough way to study the Bible. The Precept Method uses tools like observing text, asking questions, and considering application just like the Inductive Method, but the Precept Method also goes a level deeper to bring in tools like prayer, specific ways to look for themes, ways to make lists to understand common central ideas or patterns, and we also use the context of Scripture to help you interpret Scripture. Learn more about this method HERE.
