Deacon Chair: Kim Mitchell

The Benevolence Ministry is designed to help those within our church body during a time of significant need or crisis. At Bay Area, our Deacons have the responsibility of overseeing and conducting the Benevolence Ministry under the supervision of the elders. Following the biblical principles laid out in the Bible, the diaconate provides care and in some cases short term financial assistance for individuals, primarily within the body, who are needy, poor, sick or suffering.

The Meal Train Ministry is a new initiative of the Care Network to provide relief from meal preparation after coming home with a new baby, recovering from a medical procedure, caring for a loved one, or other unforeseen circumstances. If you or someone you know would like to request a meal train, please fill out a form HERE and one of our coordinators will contact you.
