Week 10: Standing Firm In The Lord

Who doesn’t like receiving a hand written thank you note? It’s a dying art but still extremely effective. As a cross-cultural missionary, I wrote thousands of thank-you notes to folks who gave generously. In one sense, the entire letter to the Philippians is a long thank you letter for their joyful giving. This weekend we’ll see from Philippians 4:14-20, how this poor church was so joyful in giving sacrificially to Paul.
