Week 5: 10 Commandments

What comes to mind when you think of the 10 Commandments? Rules, right? Do this, not that. But what if when you thought about the “law” from Moses, you thought of something else first – something like love. When the Old Testament commands of God get boiled down we find that they are from love, and for love. Unfortunately, the Israelites would eventually turn the law into a job description to become a righteous person, but that was never the point.
