Week 3: Love's Pure Light
Dec 13, 2020 • Greg St. Cyr
Joseph Mohr’s famous Christmas carol, "Silent Night," continues to bring calm and bright as we sing it during Advent. This week we look at the third stanza: "Silent night! Holy night! Son of God, love's pure light, radiant beams from thy holy face, with the dawn of redeeming grace, Jesus, Lord, at thy birth, Jesus, Lord, at thy birth." Jesus is the embodiment of the pure light of love. Join us this Sunday as we continue to celebrate the birth of Jesus in Annapolis, Easton, Odenton and online. Together we will learn from an elderly man named Simeon who teaches us about love’s pure light!
