Week 2: Set Free From the Treadmill

Sep 13, 2020    Greg St. Cyr

From an early age we are used to receiving affirmation for what we do, so we seek to do, do, do. Seeing this play out in our lives today looks like running on the treadmill: putting in work that doesn’t physically get us anywhere. This is because we are forgetting that “it” has already been done - that the Gospel is not about works but about a person named Jesus and His redemptive work on the cross. Knowing and embracing that the true gospel sets us free from performance based acceptance. Join us this Sunday as we dive back into Galatians and see how the true Gospel can set us free from the treadmill.
