Week 8: Our Understanding Of Reality

In 2002, Justin Timberlake was approached by some IRS agents claiming he owed over $900k in back taxes. As they confiscated his personal belongings, Justin crumbled in shock. What Justin didn’t know was this was a prank by Ashton Kutcher and his TV show Punk’d. This show went to great lengths to target and convince unsuspecting celebrities that what they were experiencing was real. But the truth was it wasn’t reality. Something completely different was happening. Every day, you and I get "Punk’d" by the world. We are led to believe this life is what it’s all about, when in reality, there is a completely different spiritual narrative unfolding. And this spiritual reality is what Jesus taught about most.
