Connect Groups are temporary communities that connect unconnected people at Bay Area into long-term discipleship communities, whether a Missional Community, a Life Group, or Men’s or Women’s Bible Study.

Life Groups are the environment at Bay Area that most closely follow Jesus’ method of making disciples of a few. It is the primary vehicle that helps leaders make their faith step to move from “growing” to “multiplying” on the discipleship pathway.

The vision of Life Groups is that they will become a factory of multiplying disciples; that the Holy Spirit will grow a surplus of mature and equipped leaders at Bay Area who give their life to making disciples of a few. Our long-term goal for Life Groups is that every Ministry Partner is following Jesus, being changed by Jesus and on mission with Jesus in the context of a Life Group.
In our “A Chapter A Day” guide, you will find a simple structure that will help you become a self-feeder as you receive and respond to His Word. Our hope is that this 365-day guide will help you achieve life’s highest priority: cultivating a personal, intimate relationship with the Lord.

Many people at Bay Area want to follow God’s lead in their neighborhoods, but don’t know where to start. That’s why we developed the Serve Your Neighbor Challenge to help us learn together how to love our next-door neighbors with Jesus’ love. We are in a season and cultural climate that is desperate for acts of kindness and love, and God calls us to be the light of the world. He has placed each one of us strategically to love and serve those around us. Through gospel-motivated love and service, we can make a significant difference.

If we are aware of our neighbor, we are moved to compassion for them, and then can meet their needs. This is what the challenge is all about - knowing our neighbor, loving our neighbor, and moving to meet their needs. In turn, we grow as disciples and have opportunities to share the gospel. The next 90 days will be a challenge - but this challenge will bear spiritual fruit that glorifies God as we grow as missionaries in our neighborhood. This is a whole family activity – for every person in our church family.
